Leadership In The Midst of Uncertainty
Stephanie and I, dropped in a local church here in the Tri-Cities almost by accident this past sunday and heard a most profound sermon by this gentleman about integrating emotions and the truth of God’s word together into our lives. Despite the fact that we can not trust our emotions solely, God does expect us to be genuine about our feelings in coming to him just as we are. He then takes us, and completes the work He has planned.
Stephanie and I are in a most profound challenge in this time frame, as we are trying to figure out which way to turn. A number of hard descisions lie ahead concerning life and ministry directions. God knows where we are at, that we are scared, frustrated, excited and concerned.
But,
I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. Jeremiah 29:11-13 NIV
